This letter is to thank you for your most generous donation of a truck and three movers to The Thousand Smiles Foundation, a value of Nine Hundred and Sixty Dollars ($960.00).
The Thousand Smiles Foundation is a non-profit charitable foundation that provides free cleft lip and palate surgeries and dental care for underprivileged children in Latin America. Currently, our Thousand Smiles Foundation Surgical/Dental Clinics are held in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. We are a tax-exempt organization as defined under Section 501 (c)(3) of the U.S. IRS code, Federal Tax ID number: 33-0169980.
Since it’s beginning in 1985 by a group of South Bay San Diego area Rotarians, over 1,700 children have received life-enhancing craniofacial reconstructive surgeries, dramatically changing their lives. Human beings who were literally outcasts in their communities have been restored to normal, healthy and respected individuals.
