Step-by-Step Guide of the Move Process
Oakley Relocation's team is committed to perfecting the move process. Our team provides high-quality, top notch service at every stage of your relocation.
Customer Service Representative (CSR) will schedule an in-home or virtual survey appointment and answer any preliminary questions.
Relocation Consultant will consult with you to inventory your belongings. They will also discuss various packing options and/or third party services that you may require.
Relocation Consultant will provide an estimate of cost for your upcoming move. They will review the estimate with you and answer any questions.
If you decide to move forward, the move date will be secured in our system and a CSR will follow-up with paperwork to be signed. If needed, we will reserve any additional third party services.
We will prcess the estimated cost of all moving services on your credit card 72-hours prior to your move date.
Set aside items that you do not wish to be packed or loaded onto the truck in a closet/area that is clearly marked. Make one more trip to your favorite charity with items for donation.
A CSR will call you the day before the packing and/or loading date to confirm arrival time of your moving Crew and/or Driver.
Move day! When the moving Crew and Driver arrive, they will take time to prepare your home and large furniture items. The hours will speed by as they pack and load your belongings. Ensure that your little ones (whether they have 2 legs or 4) are safe and sound during move day.
Driver will provide updates while in transit and will confirm the expected delivery date. On the day of delivery, the moving Crew and Driver will unload your belongings in your new home. You made it!
